Ordering Information How to Place an Order
Payment Options Things Engraved has many payment options available to suit you. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Please make sure that your billing information filled out in the form is correct and matches the address shown on your monthly billing statements. Billing and identity information problems can delay the processing and shipment of your order. It is recommended that the billing and shipping addresses are the same to avoid complications. Unfortunately we do not accept other types of payment online, but should you wish, use our store locator to find your local Things Engraved or Personally Yours store where our outstanding teams can assist you. Personalization Personalization is a way to make your gift unique and special, creating a meaningful sentiment that will be associated to you forever! Personalization allows you to enhance a gift by adding a name, date, occasion, or any other special message that you desire. These messages are personalized through either engraving or embroidery. You will be prompted to personalize any gifts that have the option to be personalized. How to Order a Personalized Item Choose a gift that you would like to be personalized and providing it is able to be personalized you will see the "Place Your Order" button on that gift's individual information page. This takes you to the personalization page where you can create a custom message of your own. We offer custom personalization on most gifts, which allows you to create your own personal message (space permitting). Our personalization experts have made it easy for you by determining where you can personalize on the item, as well as how many characters and how many lines of personalization will fit on each gift. Important note: when entering text, if your computer stops accepting characters when entering text into a space provided, you have reached the maximum space allowed for personalization on that specific gift. Please allow 5 business days for us to personalize and process your order (excluding the day your order is placed). You will be contacted if we are unable to meet this timeline. REVIEW YOUR PERSONALIZATION - Please Read Carefully It is very important that you review your personalization for accuracy as we are not responsible for being provided with incorrect information. Shipping We now ship internationally to anywhere in the world! Delivery Method We understand it is important that your items arrive in good hands and on time. This is why we use Canada Post. Great detail has been put into our system to ensure that the gifts you order will get to their destination no matter where that may be. Shipping Costs Your shipping time will vary according to the method (ground / air), geographic location of the package destination and number of items ordered. During the ordering process you will be given the shipping costs and estimated delivery time. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will be included at the end of the transaction process. Orders will be processed for delivery within 3 Business Days of receipt. Any orders received after 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed the following business day. If shipping within Canada the appropriate taxes as per the Province being shipped to will apply. This is will be calculated and shown during the "check-out" process and on your final invoice. Returns and Refunds Should there be an issue with an item you've purchased, Things Engraved will gladly exchange any item or provide a refund (excluding engraved or embroidered items) should you request one. Returns must be received in the same condition as they were shipped to the customer, including any instructions, batteries, trinkets and protective packaging as well as a copy of the invoice. There are two methods of returning an item:
Online All items purchased at our web site are supplied with an invoice number. All returns accompanied with this invoice information will be exchanged, credited or refunded as you desire within 60 days of purchase, on items which have not been engraved. Goods without an invoice will be exchanged, at the last sale price for an item of equal value. Retail Store We would be happy to exchange, refund or offer you a Gift Card for purchases that meet all of the following criteria: - Returned within 60 days of purchase Should a receipt not be present, we would be happy to offer a Gift Card or exchange for non-engraved product returned in its original condition and packaging.
